Amazing Healing Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been the primary source of healthcare in China for more than 3,000 years. It has helped billions of people around the world in treating their health problems.

Acupuncture is based on the principle that health problems result from a disruption in the flow of Chi (the body’s circulating life energy). Tissue and organs need the proper supply of blood and oxygen to remain stable.

Acupuncture is a treatment method proven to stabilize blood flow when it has been disrupted.

Chinese Medical Herbs

Chinese herbal medicine has been the main system of healthcare in China for over 4,000 years.

Today, there are over 400 individual herbs and 250 standard formulas. These herbs can be combined in almost infinite combinations to customize your treatment.

Herbs are prescribed based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pattern diagnosis. Vast research and anecdotal evidence suggest that Chinese herbs may be safely combined with most western medication.

cupping

Cupping

Chinese cupping is a type of alternative therapy originating from early China. It involves placing cups on the skin to create a suction, facilitating natural healing through the circulation of “chi” and blood flow.

Cupping has been believed to balance the yin and the yang within the body, restoring your body’s ability to naturally reduce pain, promote cell repair, and relive muscle tension.

Guasha

Like cupping, Guasha is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine that facilitates the flow of “chi” and blood in the body.

Guasha, also known as “scraping,” involves the use of a tool to scrape your skin in order to produce light petechia, or small red bruises.

It is believed that Guasha releases the unhealthy bodily matter within sore, tired, stiff, or injured muscle areas, to simulate new oxygenated blood flow, promote cell repair, regeneration, healing, and recovery.

chinese medical massage

Unique medical Chinese massage techniques

Along with western forms of massage, we provide the following types of oriental massage:

Acupressure was developed in China over 3,000 years ago. This preventative healthcare method uses the fingers to gradually press key healing points which stimulate the body’s natural self-healing abilities. Acupressure is using gentle to firm finger pressure to boost the immune system, release tension, increase blood circulation and reduce pain.

Tui Na is one of the earliest medical practices throughout time. Also referred to as the “push and grasp” massage technique, Tui Na consists of rigorous body manipulation using the arms, hands, fingers and elbows as tools for treating diseases and illnesses.

Shiatsu in Japanese means “finger pressure”. Like acupuncture, Shiatsu is based on the the holistic system of TCM and developed further in Japan.

Dr. Yang is the real deal!! I have been dealing with arm, shoulder, and neck pain/tightness due to cervical spinal stenosis for couple years now. Physical therapy did not help much for me. I had my first acupuncture treatment with Dr. Yang two days ago and I was pleasantly shocked that the pain and tightness were reduced significantly. Thank you, Dr Yang!!!!

Don't look away, from all the centers in Boston this is by far the best one, the number one. 30 years experiences, PhD, you can feel the knowledge. He started by listening carefully and reviewing my body as a whole. He asked specific questions and knew where to go, what to assume just by touching and listening to you. He then did the acupuncture, first time, and it feels great afterwards. He told me I had something with my spine, no doctor ever knew it, even chiropractor. After that I decided to do cupping, incredible massage that loosens your body. Again, after everything I saw and did, this is for me the best.

I have been living with nerve damage in my foot due to a sports injury from 17 years ago. Over the years, I've tried all kinds of physical therapy and have seen different specialists at some of the most well-known hospitals. However, nobody could help me. Finally, I decided to stop at Yi Acu Clinic a few weeks ago after seeing the sign while walking around. This has been the best treatment I have received so far. Dr. Yang is incredibly caring and knowledgeable. He explained that it would take some time, but he could potentially reverse my nerve damage using Electroacupuncture. He also recommended I take herbal tea to manage my stress, and it has been effective so far. The receptionist is so friendly and kind, making every visit a pleasant experience. I can't recommend this place enough if you suffer from any kind of pain.

My experience with Dr. Yang has been life changing. He is detail oriented, very kind and his knowledge and wisdom about the human body is so vast and hard to find. I have been treated with Acupuncture before in different countries and I've never encountered a practitioner like him before. I have been in pain for so many years and for very different reasons such as Fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions, scar tissue from surgeries and so on. He has successfully treated pain, ringing in the ears, improved my sleep cycle, carpel tunnel and inflammation improved the stiffness in my neck and other. If you are looking for a more holistic treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Yang. Thank you so much Dr. Yang and Anne!

Dr. Yang is made of magic! After countless trips to Mass Eye and Ear with no answers or relief, I found this incredible human being! He evaluated me for over a half an hour & came to conclusions no one else had mentioned whatsoever. I left his practice pain free after the first appointment. He is OUTSTANDING. Do yourself a favor and go see him if you're having any form of discomfort - you won't regret it

Dr Yang is a highly talented professional. As an athlete, I came to him with a training related muscular injury and he established a care plan. I was happy to find myself feeling better even after the first session. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a speedy recovery and a return to full performance.

Came in to try acupuncture for my neck pain. I worked with a chiropractor also but felt that acupuncture treated my pain much faster and more effectively. I've seen Dr. Yang 3 times now. He successfully treated my neck and was even able to address my plantar fasciitis and low back pain. Every time I saw him, I mentioned a different chronic pain I've been dealing with and he has been very patient. Hoping treatment will last much long term but I'm definitely adding acupuncture to my self care routine. His clinic is very clean and professional and definitely recommend to anyone seeking alternative medicine and treatment.

I have been dealing with chronic hip pain for 10 years now, to the point where it's affecting my sciatica nerve.my doctor sent me to an orthopedic doctor who took X-rays and told me that I needed total hip replacement at the age of 40. I was in disbelief. I tried alternatives. Chiropractor, P.T, Massage Therapy , and nothing seemed to help, my Friend told me to try a Chinese doctor so I did some research and I found Dr. Yang and I called, there staff was very helpful and took the time to talk with me over the phone for about a half hour or so , I made an appointment with the doctor and I brought my X-rays with me and he said that I didn't need the surgery that he could help me with my problem. I just finished my second visit and my hip is feeling really good, I can't explain it but he's the real deal noBS, I'm so glad and grateful to find this man. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr.Yang!
